Winnux 0.1 Developer Preview — Scope

The first version of Winnux is a Developer Preview with limited scope. It is not intended for production use.

Goals for 0.1

• Prove that the minimal chain works: kernel → image → boot → first-run
• Show localized first-run flow (language and region)
• Establish reproducible builds
• Verify rollback in QEMU

Included in 0.1

• Minimal bootc image
• Pinned kernel
• KDE Plasma (minimal configuration)
• Mesa for AMD/Intel
• Winnux Welcome with language and region selection
• Swedish and English

Not included in 0.1

• Winnux Migrate, Bridge, Gaming, Store, Repair (coming in Phase 3)
• Secure Boot
• Signed images
• Physical hardware verification
• Automatic graphics driver identification

0.1 is a Developer Preview. It is published to show progress and enable early testing, not for daily use.
