Winnux has six support levels for hardware. The existence of a Linux driver does not mean that the hardware is Winnux-certified.

Winnux uses Mesa for AMD and Intel graphics. NVIDIA users get a separate image with appropriate drivers. The graphics driver is selected automatically during installation.
Winnux uses fwupd and LVFS for firmware updates on supported hardware. This enables updating BIOS, firmware for keyboards, mice, and other devices.
Winnux Hardware can be run from Live USB to check hardware compatibility before installation. This is a central part of the safety principle — test before you install.
